✓ Appointed SWOT Champion in 2012 and ensured that strategic planning was done by each department at the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall. Results were then forwarded to Head Office and used in the development of Company- wide 2013 goals.

Directing, facilitating and monitoring the day to day human resources management activities in the Agro-Investment Corporation which had approximately fifty two (52) employees. These activities included executing strategic initiatives to attract, develop and retain skilled and productive employees.

Main accomplishments:

✓ Aided in the development of the "Food Quality and Food Safety Management System Component of the Agricultural Competitiveness Programme (ACP) which was funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Assisted in the creation of strategic objectives, work plans and budget for that component of the Project.

✓ Arranged and led interviews for the Project

Contributed to institutional change and strengthening at the Ministry of Local Government and Environment by training ninety nine officers including Managers, Heads of Departments, Personnel Officers, Directors of Administration and Auxiliary Staff of Councils in Human Resource Management. This programme was implemented through the Parish Infrastructure Development Programme (PIDP) which was funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). It was taught at the certificate level through six modules inclusive of Strategies and Environment, Strategic role of HR Management, Staffing the Organization, Types of Selection Methods, Developing Human Resources and Performance Management and Appraisal Process.

Main Task:
Implementing, coordinating, supervising and monitoring all the activities of the Agricultural Health and Food Safety component of the ASSP. This component was further divided into three components; Plant Health, Food Safety and Animal Health. As technical officer there were managerial, human resource management, coordinating and administrative responsibilities. This programme was funded by the Inter-American Development Bank and Government of Jamaica.

✓ executing contracts and payments
✓ submitting annual, quarterly and monthly reports to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Planning Institute of Jamaica and Project Director of the ASSP
✓ monitoring the job functions of 8 Animal Health Technicians and 1 Executive Secretary

Training Duties
✓ Training senior government officials in the areas of human resource management, team building techniques and communication skills.
✓ Training farmers in group dynamics
✓ Conducting training needs assessment of internal staff and farmers
✓ Developing and implementing evaluation techniques for training programmes
✓ Developing intervention procedures by utilizing techniques such as interviews and participant observation
✓ Developing approaches to solving group problems and incorporating sociological research and other related disciplines
