West Africa Gas Pipeline Project

The high increase in demand of energy by West African countries has led to collaboration between the coastal countries Ghana, Nigeria, Togo and Benin to connect to Natural Gas generated in Nigeria, a project named the West African Gas Pipeline Project. My company was contracted in partnership with Metron Energy Applications (Greece) to construct the Regulatory and Metering Stations in Ghana.

✓ Management skills through day-to-day supervision and monitoring of work progress
✓ Knowledge of occupational health and safety rules through participation in HSE workshops

The project was aimed at constructing a 230MW Thermal Power Plant. The focus of Civil

Works was on the Gas Turbine and Generator foundations and balance of plant structures as two 14000L Raw Water and Fuel Storage Tanks, Employee Facility Buildings, Control Room, Site Offices, Paving of Access Roads etc.

✓ Data analysis through monitoring and record keeping of site weather station
✓ Supervision through conducting of regular site inspection on progress of civil works
