I held three positions at Care for the Family having joined as Supporter Relations Team Administrator in 1998 and promoted to Supporter Relations Team Manager in 2003, a role in which I also held the position of Data Protection Officer. In 2007 I was promoted to the role of Customer Service Centre Manager and was responsible for managing a team of 12 operators in the charity’s inbound and outbound call centre. This involved monitoring processes to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times, undertaking staff reviews and appraisals identifying and implementing any training requirements and successfully managing the team through organisational restructures and changes. An important part of my role was to be directly involved with the introduction of a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This involved not only a thorough knowledge of the system but also a complete understanding of the organisation’s main aims and goals, problem solving and complaints processing. It also required liaising with other team managers to ensure that the new system was to be used to its full potential throughout the organisation.
During my time at Care for the Family I was also involve in supporting and developing a number organisational wide projects, systems and procedures.
