Most people that I have had conversations with pertaining to job experience that I have acquired over the years, have found my experience quite creative and interesting. I have a variety of knowledge in numerous fields of work. I have explored numerous positions and continue to do so, pushing myself into uncharted territory to achieve goals never done before by myself. I consider myself a go get person always trying to improve myself and doing my job to the best of my ability. Getting it done right the first time is very important to me.
I have worked on a wide range of projects from HVAC systems in commercial buildings to marine systems on Large Ships and sports yachts. I am familiar with most system designs. I have a good knowledge of pneumatic systems and steam systems.

Pipe Fabricator Shop Foreman
Century Automatic Sprinklers
August 1987 - September 1989
Worked for Ron Nerva owner and great guy. I ran the crew that fabricated sprinkler pipes mostly for small jobs. This was for fire protection and not your lawn. Like the motto goes (Our sprinklers saves your ass not your grass) The process included threading, grooving and drilling holes in pipe. Whatever mechanical joint was needed for the pipe, we prepped it and made it fit. I was in charge of processing the pipe and getting it delivered to the job on time.
Head Chef and Kitchen Manager
Oage Thompsons Restaurant
March 1982 - April 1986
This was a fine 4 star family restaurant with luxurious dining that was around for over 40 years. Sad to say it is closed now but was a great establishment for its time. I trained under the owner who loved Danish and Scandinavian cooking. He loved art not only in his cooking but also in his restaurant. I grew to love him and his taste for food. I looked forward to going to work there everyday because everyday was a challenge and completely different. I created his daily specials and he(Oage) and the customers enjoyed my soups. No party was to small or to big and very few if any customers walked away unhappy.
This is my first time that I worked on a boat of this type. I felt honored to have the chance to get the experience. I must admit I never did yoga before but after working on the piping and systems on this yacht I know how one feels. Perfection is top priority so I felt very comfortable working with the crew. Even though I did get the hand me down jobs mostly, they did trust me enough to do a little piping work here and there. Its a beautiful boat and I am proud to be a part of the team to get it in the water.
USS Freedom LSC-1
I was very proud to work on this ship. It was the first one that was built for the Navy. I was mostly working in the engine room installing lube oil lines and fuel supply lines. I did some pneumatic systems and worked on waste water recovery. I also worked on the foam system for fire protection. I am glad that the US has continued funding for these ships. I do believe they will play an integral part in the protection of others freedom as well as our own.
Hidden Oaks Apartments
This was by far the largest residential job that I ever did. In the end I completed the fire protection on 9 of these buildings in less than 2 years. All of them have underground parking. It was my second job using CPVC plastic piping. This was all wood construction with the exception of the underground garage parking.
This was one of my finest achievements. The work was challenging to say the least. The pool area alone was a nightmare to begin with because the company I was working with got in late and the painters were already painting the ceiling with a special paint to prevent the steel joists from rusting. We needed to get our piping in there. There is an inside running track that circles the gym floors which there are about 14 full sized courts. This was a major project that I felt a great accomplishment when it was all done. I was the foreman on the job at the time and a journeyman Sprinkler-fitter with 12 plus years experience. There was over 3000 sprinkler heads to be installed on this project so you can imagine the work I had cut out for me.
