Devised and introduced an integrated suite of survey instruments; influenced all businesses within the group to standardise their approach. Savings exceeded £100k pa.

Established the employee opinion survey for 70,000 people. Through effective management of complex supply chains of direct employees, indirect employees and external providers reduced the per capita cost from £8.80 to £5.60 over four years.

Directed a series of research projects on sensitive issues including employee attrition, which led to a revised induction process and the appointment of Induction Consultants, and a programme identifying the behaviours that make line managers most effective. This impacted on reward mechanisms and management training.

Researched and wrote A Perfect Union? - assessing the impact of cultural norms on cross-border mergers. This became an integral part of the Group's acquisition planning process.

Developed the highly successful Consortium for Executive Development, which provided executive development at 20% the cost of a formal business school programme.

Developed a unique and successful multi-company training programme.
