I transferred to MITIE under TUPE in May 2001 and gained immediate promotion to General Manager with overall responsibility for mailroom services for a major international law firm. When I joined MITIE Business Services, the company was newly founded and I became a share holder playing a major part in the development and success of the business.

In 2004 I became a qualified internal NQA auditor and was fundamental in gaining the company's first ISO 9001 accreditation. I retained a role as Quality Manager until the role became large enough to be amalgamated with Health, Safety and Environmental services
In 2004 took on more contracts and multi-site responsibility with a significant growth to client service portfolio, delivering a wide range of soft services across varied corporate commercial buildings throughout London and more recently in Derby. The revenue value of my contracts is £2.5m with profits just over £477K (19% margin)

My remit was widened to encompass changes to working practices such as additional administration and management processes associated with PMBS.

One of the world's leading international law firms based in the City of London. One of my key achievements with Linklaters was managing the moves transition of all the firms' distribution and goods in services from 3 buildings into 1 in 1997. This involved extensive liaison with building fabric engineers, soft furnishing suppliers and all relevant vendors in relation to the delivery and set up of the new mailroom and goods in areas within the new building. I was also the main representative for the service and liaised with partners and staff relocating to their new working environment. I linked in with project teams ensuring all aspects of my services were considered.
