Funeral Service Professional
Broadoak Funeral Services
In my spare time I work for the Lancashire wildlife trust on various conservation projects such as digging a wildflower meadow, to building a dry stone wall.
Currently I work three days a week voluntarily at a dive shop just outside Manchester. My main roles include ensuring the shop is clean and tidy, serving customers, answering phone calls, filling diving cylinders, booking diving equipment in for testing when required, taking parcels to the post office to be delivered to customers.
My role was to collect in all the balls at the end of the day, and clean them ready for the following day. Other duties include locking, and securing the driving range at night.
The Lancashire wildlife trust
During periods of unemployment I did voluntary work for the wildlife trust on various projects such as creating flower meadows, visiting schools and helping the children plant new plants and make food for wildlife, I then volunteered at a local nature reserve as a guide. My role as a guide was to walk around the reserve checking for any damage to any of the shelters, reporting any disturbances to the office, picking up litter, and above all making sure the visitors were enjoying themselves.
