March 1993 - October 1995
Swindon. Initially employed to operate 6 colour Carraro flexographic printing machine, moving onto 10 unit DCM
gravure press after 8 months, responsible for production quality on a day to day basis,
maintenance of machinery and enabling Production Control to schedule workload. In
addition, operating finishing equipment mainly on overtime at short notice.
April 1992 - February 1993
Responsible for the inauguration of an "In House" printing facility. Setting and operating 2 colour Heidelberg GTO 52 and GTO 46 presses. Training and managing
personnel. Liasing with suppliers, Repro and Production Manager regarding work
schedule and delivery times. Some finishing duties, mainly Guillotine operation.
August 1988 - February 1992
Printer. Setting and operating 6 colour Wifag and Windmoller & Holscher presses across two production sites. Responsible for control of quality and utilisation of Machine
Assistants. Colour matching on a regular basis, trouble-shooting of process and systems and after 2 years appointed additional responsibility of training Apprentices and newly
recruited Printers. Ensuring that up to 6 presses were in production at any time.
