Projects

Open your heart & mind...

What is Reiki? It is pronounced "ray-kee."

The practice of Reiki is an original method of healing, developed by Mikao Usui in Japan early in the 20th century, which is activated by intention. It works on every level, not just the physical.

The Japanese word Reiki means ‘Universal Energy’. Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to well-being. Known as ‘ki’ in Japan, ‘chi’ in China and ‘prana’ in India. Acupuncture, T’ai chi and Yoga are also based on the free-flow of this energy in a person.

Reiki is a non-invasive therapy whose purpose is to treat holistically and to restore homeostasis (stability / balance).

Our Sanctuary

The Reiki and Relaxation Room

Advanced Reiki Therapist - Reiki Master Practitioner

http://www.121-training.net/reiki/index.htm We are passionate about our Reiki and keen to guide, support & help others find the benefits through experiencing a calming / healing Reiki session with us.

Reiki helps Mark on a daily basis to deal with stress, find relaxation, and the ability to rest and to maintain balance in mind. I firmly believe that Reiki and the spirituality of it entering my life and heart help me deal with a former addiction and release alcohol from my life!

Jan uses Reiki daily to help with pain control and to relax after a busy working day in her vocation as a "Senior Care Assistant."

We use crystals to complement our sessions, all these skills we learnt from a lovely lady "Heidi Fawkes" our Reiki Master Teacher. Jan will use a crystal pendent to "read" your chakras this will further guide us on particular areas of interest.

We also "fragrance" our sanctuary with various incenses to help set the mood and general feeling of calm.

We operate from our lovely Reiki Sanctuary in Leeming Bar A few minutes off the A1 (Junction 51) and 6 miles from Northallerton on the A684 towards Bedale.
