Start working for my dad we developed new products and rotation moulding machines that is one arm machines and three arm carousel machine. I am in the plastic industry for the last 22 years I have experience in Injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion moulding and roto moudlding, and the recycle of plastic and metal. I work for Reggies as a store manager,Pick n Pay as a recieving manager,Romar SA as a factory manager,Sindawonye as a production and plant manager.
I am working for WeRPro I am the production manager, the company is based in Port Elizabeth. (The company is a rotational moulding company they manufacture swimming pool filters, water tanks, table and chairs, solar heat box, geysers), My responsibilities is to plan and organising production schedules, assessing project and resources requirements, determining quality control standards, overseeing production processes, re-negotiating time scales and schedules as necessary, select, ordering and purchasing material, organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment and supervising the work of junior staff.

They wanted to enter the SABS business women of the year competition, their goal was to have the first black women in South Africa as owners of a rotational moulding company. I built a three arm rotational moulding machine and designed the mould to manufacture a water purifier I installed and commissioned the machine in Ford Jackson East London, the two ladies Tangy and Thelma came second in the competition.

2009 Start my own company Enviro Geyser
I developed a high pressure geyser and patented the geyser( patent nr 2008/06/9965)
SABS and complied to all the SABS Standards
I have patented and developed a rotational moulding plastic gravity feed geyser for the low cost housing in South Africa. It has the best standing heat loss in South Africa tested by SABS. It was during this period that I saw an opening in the high pressure geyser market. My aim was to eliminate the current problem the geyser industry has by creating a water heater that can outlast the guarantee period and beyond. The current geyser technology has been the same for the last 35 years. I brought new technology to the market, I went to Johannesburg and set up the plant to manufacture the geyser, send a geyser to SABS and complied to all the SABS Standards, the current geyser manufactures start taking note of my company and geyser, I did need to carry the SABS mark and send a geyser for SABS to do the test for the SABS mark. I have seen no problem with that because I complied already to the standard of the SABS. I did not get the SABS mark from the SABS they said they don't have the technology to test my geyser. I took SABS to court but they reiterate that they lack the necessary equipment and technology to test my geyser. As a result I lost the case. I would still like to emphasise that I complied with the SABS standards, with all the politics I decided to leave the geyser and close the factory. I maintain that your competive advantage in the market lies in your innovativeness in so far as coming up with new and unique products ideas, quality as well as pricing. I would have had a large portion of the geyser market in South Africa did I not choose to walk away.
I work for Sindawonye as a production and plant manager. My responsibility was initiative plans and processes which minimize recycle and manufacturing cost through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports Sindawonye strategic initiatives. Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume. I was responsible for the incoming scrap metal (copper) analyzed for chemical composition during unloading of the truck. The unloaded scrap was then segregated for unwanted materials like cast iron, non metallic, non ferrous material. I had to see that the selected material be smelted in the Induction furnace. We recycle various cables, copper, aluminium power cables, telecommunication cables (Sindawonye had the contract with -Telkom SA to remove the old copper cable and replace it with fibre optic cables). I designed and built a transport pallet mould and built a three arm rotational moulding machine for them to manufacture the plastic transport pallet with all the plastic recycle material Sindawonye had. We also had about 9 extrusion machines we manufactured plastic droppers for the farmers and Conner peaces for the transport industry.

I work for Romar SA as a factory manager. My responsibility was all operations in the factory, the silk screening and printing departments. I provide necessary technical assistance in tendering for jobs, responsible for manufacturing activities, (assembly production) which includes production of the existing products or new production lines, meeting production targets, managing working effectively, improving product and printing quality and maintaining harmonious labour relations. Responsible for different manufacturing processes like machining, moulding, press working, metal cutting, bending, three arm carousel silkscreen printing and different silk screening screens. Coordination with business units for service between Head Office and factory.

Work for Pick n Pay as a Receiving Manager
My duties were managing a team of receiving managers to receive stock into the store, return stock to vendors and transferring of stock between branches. Responsible for security at the branch and manage a team of security officers from a external company.

Working for Reggies, as a store manager my responsibility was to maintaining customer service, maintaining cash controls, order supplies, check received stock against invoice, mark prices on stock, restock shelves, operate the cash register, balance cash receipts, make deposits.
We manufactured train wheels and axle.
My tasks and responsibilities was, Inspect production quality and respects deadlines. Supervises the reception of metals, manage personnel and train employees. Ensures the occupational health and safety of my team.

We developed new products. We ran a production plant that manufactured plastic dog kennels, plastic flower pots, plastic water tanks, plastic water gutters and municipal dust bins, bottles, plastic pallets. The machinery that we had was the Injection moulding (80 ton German kaymak) and metalmak, blow moulding (Kautex machine), extrusion the (bekum) machine and rotational moulding the one arm and three arm carousel machine, the rotational moulding machines was designed by me and build by me.
