Printmaker - Artistic

I work in Intaglio Printmaking to do drawing like prints. I work in realism and have a japanese aesthetic.

Work History

I traveled over to Japan to do a summer program to help Japanese children with their english skills. As a camp counselor I worked with 1-7 japanese students at a time to write a story about themselves and make a short play. Each camp was 3 days long and I did 10 camps in total. Job was only for the summer and lasted 2 month. I was placed in mid Honshu in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.

AND 2013.

Animeland Wasabi in Denver

From March 2011

2013, and 2014 for the weekend it was held. I also plan on continuing this for the next few years. I make dresses, hats, and jewelry to sell as well as my own drawings, paintings, and prints. I have a lot of fun talking with many different people and I always do well in sales.

I ran the cash register at a concession stand at the bronco football games at Invesco Field in Denver. It was through my BLA club at my high school and was voluntary.

Made out of silver PMC (precious metal clay) with a cubic zerconia.

Made of Brass. I used the Intaglio acid biting technique to draw in the leaves and spirals and annealed the metal to bend it into shape.

I wove this scarf out of white cotton yarn I dyed myself. It is about 8 feet long and took around 50 hours.

Red Cakes

A cute Lolita style dress I made to sell.

Gold Dress

A lolita style dress I made to sell.

A practice in screen printing with multiple colors. I printed an original drawing onto the hand dyed fabric. Only the waist band and ruffles on the bottom are not done my me.

Risk and Reward

My attempt to tell a story of traveling through items I had at home. This is a still life drawing in conte crayon.

Muscle Study

With my training in proportions I attempted a strange pull of the muscles in the male body to practice both with control in the acid in Intaglio Printing as well as with my abilities in portraying the human body through drawing.

Light Study

I did this picture to practice with shading control with the acid in Intaglio printing and to have a look at a high contrast in light.
