Moss Bros Regents Street is currently the flagship store of the company. For that reason all my duties are vital to both the smooth running and efficiency of the store on the whole. I enjoy dealing with customers every single day and ensuring they are both pleased with what they see and the way in which they are looked after during their time in the store. Paperwork and till balancing is as important as customer service so I have to stay on course with that just as much as I do with the customer service aspect of my job.

Working for a gaming company was both fun and challenging. When new games or offers were due to be released it was down to us to promote this as much as possible to gain customer awareness and sales. I learnt a lot about the industry and gained more experience in dealing with customers and managing tills, staff and new promotions.
• Setting up new promotions in store, balancing all tills in store, going out to promote new stock and offers to the public and dealing with all customer complaints/returns.

This was an entirely different side of customer services and one I thoroughly enjoyed. I worked well within a strong team of people who were dedicated to ensuring all our customers had a good time and enjoyed all of the companies facilities and offers. I had to ensure stock was replenished regularly and that tills balanced up both at the start and the end of the day.

This is where I started my career in the retail industry. It was both extremely useful to my knowledge and experience and thoroughly enjoyable. I started my customer service training here, my knowledge of tills and handling large amounts of cash on a day to day basis as well as learning to work within the structure of a team. I had to understand stock monitoring and control and deal with the security that comes from dealing in high end markets.
• Handling cash and learning the EPOS system, overseeing security of high end stock, customer service, redirection of stock to other branches, liaising with head office and reporting directly to the General Manager.
