I moved back to Portland when my parents needed to transition into residential housing. As before, I was a food server, but now worked the opening shift and took on more back of house responsibilities.
I worked with multiple clients during the day. My responsibilities included changing, feeding, exercising and transporting my clients. It was important to me to help them have the opportunity to do what they enjoyed most. I left this position to begin an internship at Serenity Lane.
I was the primary evening server, but handled many responsibilities simultaneously. A typical shift included serving, cashier and hostessing responsibilities, as well as handling lottery transactions and bussing tables. I established a loyal clientele, with many customers who came in every day I worked because they enjoyed our interaction. I left when I moved to Eugene to help my elderly parents so that they could remain in their home.
I worked as both a bar tender and a food server. I left to accept a position at Ron's restaurant.
