Corporate Controller

• Successfully integrated a Sage X3 Adonix ERP system satisfying all corporate needs and ensuring accounting and internal controls were integrated to reduce inefficiencies.
• Worked and negotiated with bankers to satisfy the corporate operating and investment needs of the group of companies. Produced cash flow projections and budgets on a monthly basis. Ensured the accounting cycle was complete on a monthly basis and reporting financials to bankers.Foreign exchange hedging strategies.
• Made investment analysis, recommendations and managed two holding companies in addition to the normal operating company(Restaurant and Investment companies).
• Analysis of day to day cash flow needs and monitoring of staff. Managed group and corporate insurance plans, CSST /La Mutuelle files and ensured proper and timely reporting to governments of DAS, GST/TVQ and Corporate income tax remittances.
• Identified areas of improvement and implemented policies to reduce fraud by employees.Inventory variance analysis and valuation.
• Completed clean audits on a yearly basis. Provided all required audit schedules for interim and year end audits for external auditors
• Participated in reconciliations of intercompany transactions, custom clearance/duty compliance with government reports(letters of credit).
• Participated in the hiring, planning and operational procedures in opening our retail locations.
