Cruise Ship Ship"S Cook
My name is Marino Andelic. I am 35 years old and I am a chief cook. I have been working for 12 years on ferry ships in the Adriatic Sea. After finishing school in 1995 I started working on a ferry ship for the first time. I stayed there for 12 years. The first half year I was a galley boy. Then I became the 2nd cook and after that chief cook. I worked for 8 years on small ferry ships. There were 20 members of crew and I was responsible for buying and preparing food with a financial limit. After that I worked on big ferry ships. I prepared hot food for the crew and worked in the ship-restaurant a la carte.
In the year 2007 I stopped my work on ships, got married and decided to work on land. For 3 years I have been working in restaurants as a cook and last year I had my own restaurant.
But I decided to go on a ship again. I grew up on a ship and I think that is my destiny.
I was now again on a ship for four months. I came back a month ago. I have been working as 2nd cook on Trans Europe Ferries. It’s a big ro-ro ferry that drives from Morocco to Spain. The chief cook and I cooked for the crew of 60 members. The company I worked for has financial problems, so I’m looking for a new job. If you need an experienced cook, I’m the one. Please contact me.
