I am a writer and writing teacher, and I am a strong proponent of critical thinking as an effective tool to appeal to writers at all levels, and from all cultures.
Another skill is cooking, which I approach very much like any other creative form: intuitively, visually, and experimentally.
Having been a communication consultant for architects for over ten years, I also claim leadership and marketing as skills.
Can I claim being a parent as a skill? It depends....A mentor of mine once (rightly) claimed that, beyond inspiring unconditional love, children always get around to making you feel stupid. Perhaps this is good.
