Working on making a living, doing photography and recreation
Lately, I have been working on my Las Vagas pictures. I recently was blessed to do a photo-shoot on my grandchildren and a few of there friends.
Currently, I started with my grandaughter's photos below, wearing grandma's brown shirt and boots. Thenie, loves to play dress-up and do photo-shoots. In fact, she is the one that informs grandma what she wants to do in the photo-shoot.
What i've learned is that when you shoot photos of people, you really need to be a people person, people, need to feel comfortable with the photoghrapher.
I am definately, a people person. I love people, nature, and to learn things about people, and most importantly, I try and allow people to be themselves, even encouraging it.
The best photos are really not the photographer, it is the person, how they feel when taking the photo. The best pictures comes from the person who is being photographed. It is there personality, and how much they love themselves is what makes the photo an awesome photo.
Don't get me wrong now, I'm not talking about conceited people, I'm talking about people who have goals, such as movie actors, and people in the media, who are always under pressure to be on the spot light. They have to love what they do and be ready for the sound of the click-click-click.
A photographer, never knows what's going to happen in a days notice, especially dealing with younger ones, who are not exposed to the media. They move around and really you just start shooting one click after another.
The average model-shoot could be accounted for 200-300 hundred photo-shots before you find the one that will be used in the cover magazine. Really, it's the truth.
I myself have taken over 50-pictures before I settled for the one I really like. I guess its the knowing that we are digital and can take more if we are not satisfied.
I breifly, had the opportunity to work for a publishing company for a year. I worked as an Administrative Assistant, not directly with the Editor's or Publisher's but assisted in all there out going and incoming affairs, such as when they would leave out of town, I would be the one who sent out most of their equipment. Also, mailing out magazine's and other things that were related to permotional.
I really enjoyed working in this field. Although, at times they were under great pressure, because you are dealing with almost $50,000 or a bit less per ad, and believe me, when you are paying that much for an ad, you cannot rest easy until the product is finished on a timely manner and the customer is happy.
Believe me, running publications in a monthly magazine, is time consuming and time precious. Meaning, the magazine with be printed whether you are finished with your editorial's or model shoot. The magazine must go out without delay.
These guys who work in this industry, are very busy, much proofing, and editiing and most importantly, photoshop work must be done and must be perfect.
But I loved the field so much that I became interested in photos and photoshop programs because it was just facinating to me.
Thank you for allowing me to share with you and I hope you keep coming back to my page. Most importantly, if there is anything I can help you with, please send me a message, and if by all chance, would you please refer my page out to your friends and associates.
Would really love to start getting paid for my work.
Many blessing's sent to all!
Property Management Field
Seeking a position in a professional business of Property Manager's.
Thank you for this opportunity to share with you on what I have been doing lately. In the last few years I have been given an opportunity to explore many things I hadn't been able to in the past.
PhotoShop, Corel, and other photo programs took me in another world and it has been my passion. Taking photos, and recreating them has been the most rewarding thing in my life, besides my children.
