I am currently an employee of the Doha Golf Club where I form part of the Sales and Marketing Department.

My main functions include but are not limited to the following:

•To plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities of Doha Golf Club, so as to maintain and develop sales leads and accounts, in accordance with agreed business plans.
•To establish a customer-orientated environment with high standards of service.
•Guarantee a full guest satisfaction with the club in the local market.
•Prepare reports for Sales & Marketing Manager when needed.
•Take charge and guarantee a smooth operation F&B promotions, special events and themed nights, which the Sales and Marketing Department is responsible for promoting.
•Actively sell the F&B outlets and work closely with the F&B team on outside catering and banquet information.
•Work closely with the Director of Golf to promote the Golf Academy to individuals and corporate organizations

My main focus was conducting disciplinary hearings on a daily basis and fulfilling the HR needs of my clients. The HR needs ranged from VIP Payroll administration (capturing the different types of leave, loading new employees, updating employee information and printing payslip), monitoring the time and attendance system, handing out warnings to employees, assisting management with counselling sessions, representing the company as HR in disciplinary inquiries, drawing up Job Descriptions and assisting and following through with other HR related queries.
