Pfizer Global Engineering had a need for a SharePoint Portal as a centralized workplace to share information between the internal users. The projects objective was to create new web application structure which is used confidentially for the PMO team, and on confidential for all other users. The portal was extended globally and was recognized by the Business Week as the best tools; Colleagues all over the globe were able to share information quicker and faster.
Responsibilities:
• Designed and created the Share Point site based on the users’ requirements
• Customized the look and feel of the SharePoint portal by creating and applying custom master page
• Created application modules according to the design so that all other pages comply with the master
• Manage user permissions, Gave permissions and authentications to users as per the hierarchy
• Responsible for version control through SharePoint document management
• Administered our SharePoint sites, provided support for end users
• Trained users with newly designed systems
• Created Custom Lists, Custom Site templates, and Document libraries, Search, InfoPath Forms, Master Pages & Content Types.
