I have trained adults in the following skills: Pre-school training, Children's Ministry as well as in supporting and training adults in play therapy skills to help children who have traumatised through various circumstances. I have trained adults in various towns in the Western Cape.(I have taught a day care mother who hasn't been able to read at the age of 60 years to start as from scratch so that when she left the crèche to retire, she was able to read her own Bible. She never had the chance to go to school when she was a young girl and never learnt to read. When I visited her at her crèche, I found a crèche teacher who was not even able to read stories from children's books to the children.
I have also done extra courses at University of South Africa-Christian Youth Counselling and Community development as well as ECD training with an Organisation called Little Seeds(NGO), assessors and moderator's courses and various Play Therapy courses. Train daycaremothers in a settlement near White River called Masoyi

I trained day care mothers at crèches in Early Child Development skills. They learnt to understand the toddler's needs, development stages as well as many ways to connect with children through play, music, art and creative activities and storytelling. They were also learnt basic first aid skills, how to do basic assessments in pre-schools, how to run a pre-school as well as to handle parents/organise parent meetings etc.

Fund raising

Being a grade R school teacher, we were part of the Primary School Morester in Springs, Gauteng, who also took part in the annual school fund raising activity. Every Grade at the school had a different stall where we sold a variety of food, cooldink, cakes, sweets, toys etc. Our stall(the grade R's) had a pap and boerewors stall which was a great hit!
