Race is a word that serves for identification,
Not for discrimination.
We must appreciate one’s uniqueness and accept his flaws.
We were made to be equally different,
With individual identity and personality
You being black or me being white
Must not be a barrier to attain our rights.
It must not be the color, the race or the face
We must be treated equally without discrimination or prejudice.
I am I, and you are you.
And we must accept that it is the truth.
“Everyone’s special creature
It doesn’t matter whatever your color
Black, brown, white or yellow
You deserved to be respected and be known
Everyone’s equal, there’s no exception
Whatever gender, skin color or nation,
We deserved respect, acceptance and appreciation.”
Every person, may he be either black or white.
Must be respected and be appreciated.
No ifs, no buts but pure from the heart.
Then peace and love will be reached
If we only try not to give prejudice
Must not be tolerated but be avoided.
If every person will lend his hear
Give time and listen to one another
Then we will know each other.
To be identified, be accepted and be respected.
Everyone deserves to be appreciated.
Whatever color, nation or place a person sprouted,
He ought to be recognized and not to be avoided.
To be black or white or brown is not a sin.
But to mock, to judge and to discriminate is a different thing.
We are all the made different from one another
So let’s not belittle our own brothers and sisters.
The Little Black Boy
The little black boy was seated with his head bowed
In a damp, cold place he was laid
Walked upon by others, unnoticed
The men, women, kids, whose skins are white
Passed him by and barely cared
Of his own family and shelter, he was deprived
In his situation he already stopped to care.
All knowing that it was fated of him
Because he was black and not white-skinned.
