I also did a lot of math phobia reduction counseling as my student were all women and displayed assertiveness as needed with the crews doing construction outside my class room.

Supervised, trained and evaluated employees, wrote papers, did all research from human subjects proposals through report writing, attended ARVO, licked stamps and served as research test subject because I am nearsighted and at higher risk for glaucoma.

Initially was hired as one of two research assistants to review a citation database of 6000 plus citations pearled from many sources for the USPHS meta-analysis on clinical health education in multiple target areas including seat belt use, weight management and smoking cessation. I earned the title "Queen of Swords" for my concise analysis of unreliable and invalid studies, I then assumed the duties as project manager for study that measured urinary cotinine in a bogus pipeline research design, I was active developing "Caring for our Future, " the revisions of the US Prenatal Care Standard in the late 80s. I learned to write concisely and developed my skills as an academic. Second authorship on book chapter and co-authorship on papers.
