As a document control manager, I have supervised two direct reports and also provided guidance to four other document controllers on subcontracts. In addition, I worked together with others to create the Document Control Plan and working procedures for a rail transit project. In the past I worked as a Technical Librarian on an operating rail project, compiling and maintaining a library of documentation to operate and maintain the transit system. Prior to this position, I worked at a federal waste reservation in project controls, principally developing procedures for the work in our department and also providing reports for our facility to the Federal government.

Currently working as the Document Control Manager for the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) and serving as the counter-part to the document control manager for the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transit, a planned 20-mile elevated rail line. Responsible for managing two direct reports and four indirect document control leads on subcontracts. Prepared and maintain the Document Control Plan developed for the work of the GEC. Maintain central files (hard-copy and electronic) as the project record for the GEC. Provide support to other contracts and to internal and external parties as requested and approved. Also serve as the GEC Procedures Coordinator and perform other administrative tasks.
Quality Control Manager

Served as Quality Control Manager for PAE's contract with the UN MINURCAT work in Chad, Africa. Managed QC personnel at six camps, five near the Sudanese border and one near the country's capital, N'Djamena. The work involved the construction of facilities for UN troops. Requirements were increased for the construction from PAE's previous contract with the UN, particularly for soil and concrete testing in order to establish durable facilities. As much as possible in the environment, work was performed to U.S. standards. Management responsibilities included reporting and problem resolution within PAE and with UN counterparts, maintenance of QC files and personnel and work management involving frequent trips to sites.

Served as Quality Control Manager for Heavy Support Package (HSP) contract with the United Nations (UN) to build camps in four regions of Darfur. Operated with small group due to difficulties in bringing people in-country. Inspection activities included monitoring, testing and recording mostly civil work, both concrete structures and road construction, with some electrical, piping, and iron work with basic welding as required by the UN. Provided weekly report of all inspection and testing accomplished. Also provided data for task order group and billing process. As direct report to Project Director, participated in escorting UN representatives to other camps, obtaining and documenting UN final acceptance of facilities for their use.

Charged with preparation of certificate dossier for three LNG tanks for turnover to Bechtel as the contractor for Cheniere for Sabine Pass LNG project. Served as internal auditor for Matrix Service on this project, reporting to the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager, principally using ISO-9001 Standard. In addition, stood in as Document Control Manager until October 2007, providing controlled distribution of project documentation onsite to management, engineering and the construction force. Maintained digital and hard copy files of deficiency, design change documents and receiving inspection reports.
