What would you like to know about me? Send me your questions & I promise detailed answers will follow! Here's what I think you should know: I was born on 4 July 1957 in Buenos Aires. I sailed into San Francisco on 23 August 1965. I attended Harvard from September 1975 to June 1979, returning for graduate studies before moving on to a writing job in Hollywood. After choosing to marry an extraordinary artist, a great painter, I spent many years in California, teaching, writing & together with him bringing up three extraordinary young people who are now adults. One of them also has a child now; all that experience drives my deep interest in and concern for Parents & Children. I have taught at the University of California at Santa Cruz and in Berkeley, and also briefly in Hawai'i, a place I love as much as I love Europe and the UK. I have lived in many places, worked on some extraordinary projects, made many friends in academic circles, in the media, in politics, in film & TV & all the Arts. Some of my dearest friends work for CERN, so Science is also always on my mind. I love books, thought, engaging conversation, as well as the music & food that nourish them. From a very early age, I have been very active as an activist for human rights & environmental protection. Today, as 2012 races to what we all hope will be a happy conclusion, my foremost concern is for the rights of children & women, as well as of all the men who love & care about them & act accordingly (from their position of strength). I support the candidacy of President Obama for the American Presidency & have been helping work to that end, although I respect all political ideas & schools of thought that do not call for suppressing the rights of others, or promote any kind of hate speech or intolerance. All human beings have dignity, have rights, arrive here with an intrinsic personal potential that is only revealed with the passing of time. Life is a Mystery, a journey of Discovery to be enjoyed Sip by Sip!
