Achievements include initiating shipping steel from software (where it had been done manually), setting up a credit control position from scratch, setting up front office procedures from scratch, reorganising and streamlining office procedures from minimal, and writing detailed job procedures for all the these areas. In April 2012 I started working for High Power Equipment Africa's new Cape Town Branch. The position entailed administering all documentary aspects of the day-to-day running of the branch. My functions included PA / secretarial, Tenders preparation, invoicing, some parts sales, sales contacts management, PowerPoint presentations, reception and switchboard. I left at the end of August 2013 to relocate to the UK.

From 2004 to March 2012 I performed many diverse functions for two busy sister companies (Union Steel - steel fabrication and design) and Stellval Crane Hire (abnormal transport/ containers/ mobile cranes). These included steel shipment documentation including electronic shipment of all parts from workshop to site, processing all workshop engineering drawings physically and electronically, taking project meetings' minutes, secretarial, diary management, all office forms design and weekly factory staff attendance maintenance forms, reception, switchboard, as well as aspects of human resources administration, vehicle registrations, site crew accommodation, electronic receipt and distribution of all faxes for both companies, proof-reading labour and other manuals, etc. This was an intensely pressured job with high volumes in all functions.

I was retrenched early in 2003 as the Cape Town office closed due to difficult trading conditions, and relocated to Johannesburg.
