Marcus Lasance fits the profile of a high profile, well respected Identity and Access Management Specialist. To verify this just Google the words ‘Marcus Lasance Identity Management’. Marcus just finished restoring an old farm house in France and is looking for a new challenge.
Marcus recently took early retirement from Verizon Business Security practice in Amsterdam, where he was principal consultant Identity and Access Management. While advising large industrial Verizon customers like DSM, Daikin and Umicore in the Benelux, Marcus principal activities were centred around defining Verizon’s own user centric and cloud based approach to Identity management. Marcus was the driving force for Verizon joining the Information Card Foundation and the Open Identity exchange (OIX). In this capacity Marcus has advised government bodies like the UK Technology Strategy Board, FedICT in Belgium and the Unique Identity Authority in India.
Marcus Lasance is available for short term to medium length contracts in the area of Identity and Access management, which he prefers over more permanent assignments. He would prefer a functional role rather than a technical role. A good example is a recently completed contract as Identity and Access management architect at Fortis in Brussels. One of Marcus’ main tasks at Fortis was writing an RFP document with inputs from Fortis Insurance and ABN/Amro stake holders, participating in Q&A sessions and final evaluation of vendors.
