Photographer interested in serene images of stillness and melancholic contemplation (there's not enough of this in my opinion).

In 2010, the Royal Ulster Academy selected a piece I submitted for their annual show in the Ulster Museum. During the show's preview, the photographs (a triptych) were purchased by the Arts Development officer Suzanne Lyle on behalf of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. The image may be seen here: http://www.artscouncil-ni.org/artwork/pages/acni/PartyDisplay.php?irn=1054&QueryPage=Query.php
A selection of moody shots all unrelated in time or place. Just trying to invoke the feelings of deep reflective thought.
How I use my camera...
When I am not using my X10 for fun, I am using it for a project I am working on with my business partner. We have a website called FarmersSellDirect.com and there are lots of images on that site. The ads have photo's from our clients, but the other artwork is mine.
When I am having fun though, that's when I start to get creative. I like still lives particularly and landscape with atmospheric lighting is a special favourite.
I sometimes combine still images with an evocative piece of music and make a slideshow. And I seem to be not bad at it... see what you think.
