I was hired to start the creation of the BFA in digital photography program. I created the curriculms for 192 credit program, all course materials, and tracked grades for over 100 students per quarter. In addition, I researched and selected Artists anthologies, both contemporary and traditional, books on techniques, and DVD's on contemporary photographers for the school library. I also researched and chose Digital Leaf cameras that tethered to the monitor, and support materials for setting up the studio, such as soft boxes, light modifiers, light stands, and background stands and backgrounds.

Marcia creates individual fine art pieces, and commissions for hotels, law offices, and individuals. In addition she also is very involved in portraiture and fashion photography. Part of her company is called
"The Art of Wedding Photography" and her style is purely photojournalistic, for that real, moment to moment experience.
She also tutors individuals or small groups on camera technique, digital and analog cameras, and consultations of personal portfolios.

I offer over 3,000 images for art and art licensing. I also create one of a kind cuff bracelets, with my personal imagery on it, as well as over 40 patterns that can be used for retail: dressmaking, scarves, bedrooms, and any where that
you can imagine using these images.

Mainstreet, Rockport, Maine

The late afternoon light creates an intense and magical transformation. It is the best time to shoot, at least for me.

This image was part of a landscape series taken with my Hassleblad Camera in South Florida.

Blue Plate Universe

I used a Leonardo DaVinci wide angle pinhole to create these images of glass. The exposures lasted from 8-15 minutes, and I exposed Fujicolor Type L 4 x 5 sheet film.

Lightning strike

Pinhole image of a fire hydrant on Cherry Street, Philadelphia. The exposure was 15 minutes long, I used an oatmeal cannister to make the camera, and the invisible light wave showed up.
