I am an Instructor at Northern Caribbean University (NCU) in the Behavioural and Social Sciences Dept., Social Work Unit. I recently developed and implemented in Jamaica and Guyana my own theory- Self-Knowledge, Integration and Transformation Theory and Therapy (SKIT) using an Integrated Approach. Its Theoretical Model is Triple "C" - Control, Choice and Change, a Transformational and Therapeutic Model - Mind, Body and Soul and a Trannsformational Leadership Style Model - Humanolistic Leadership Style.
I am also guest lecturer at other universities.
I am a Generalist Social Work Practitioner specializing in Clinical, Community and Administration. My practice includes working with workers and their children through their workplace, applying clinical social work through play, art and drama in communities and promote Family and Community transformation and Restoration for Sustainable Development.
I design my own training programmes based on my theory and has applied it in over 30 organizations, schools, churches and communities. Presently working with children and their families in 3 rural communities in Clarendon and Manchester. Started at NCU a campaign for Male Social Workers and the drafting and implementation of a Family and Community Preservation Policy.
