Established a Supply Chain department within the then UK's largest independent kitchen manufacturer. Developed and implemented sourcing and planning techniques that allowed vastly improved service to external and internal customers.
Key achievement: Bringing a coordinated, cohesive approach to a previously chaotic, production-driven organization. Reduction of £1.2m in stock.

Home delivery of £90m p.a. rigid kitchen business. Responsible for JIT Supply Chain management including in-house production planning and purchasing from AEG/Berg Profiles.
Key achievement: Project management of the move from a 250,000 sq ft facility in Coventry into a purpose built 90,000 manufacturing and distribution operation at Schreiber Runcorn.

January 1985 - July 1991

Supply Chain Management roles including supply to new stores, Hygena Cuisines (France), MFI's 5 USA stores and a number of special projects.
Key achievement: Developing, with I.T specialists, a software model that utilized actual warehouse square footage to be taken into account when calculating store replenishment orders. Implementing this system in both UK and overseas stores allowed savings of £20m p.a. in stock value.
