Casual for an electrician / plumber
Contact: Joe Vermeulen
Tel (h): 011-675-1337
Duties: Included electrical, plumbing and handyman work. I often did the banking, wage paying, kept a job card and occasionally answered the phone. I was often instructed on what to do, left on site and would then have to supervise the team or work alone on all scopes of plumbing from drain unblocking, pipe laying to new installations. Electrical where it was mostly single phase but three phase as well this included new installations and fault finding as well as well as servicing three phase live distribution boards with SABS IS007 gloves and the appropriate spray non conductive etc. As the company was fairly small I was unable to have a full time position and study in that field.
