While earning her sociology degree from Emory University, Maral Cavner has been busy with a range of extra-curricular activities. Maral Cavner will be appearing in major motion pictures, is serving on a number of executive boards, and has helped organize fundraisers for various charitable organizations.

Maral Cavner recently landed small roles in three movies: Anchorman 2, starring Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, and Paul Rudd; The Hunger Games – Catching Fire, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth; and Prisoners, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman. All three films are scheduled to release in 2013.

Also an intern for the International Campaign for Tibet, Cavner has helped with fundraising to establish a library for children in Dharamshala, India. She also aided in raising money for and is a founder of Missouri's Route 66 No-Kill Animal Shelter, where she volunteers her time and offers care and socialization training for abused dogs and cats. She is also a board member of Teen Challenge, an organization that mentors teenagers on leadership skills and provides job training for employment within the community.
