I am currently employed as the Office Management Specialist for the U.S Embassy in the Commercial Service Department. My duties are include but not limited to rendering all secretarial duties to the Regional Senior Commercial Officer, Deputy Senior Commercial Officer and the Commercial Officer. Manage all travel for the Commercial Service South Africa and partner posts using E2 Travel systems. Responsible for the Foreign Service National's (FSN's) Time & Attendance reporting and American Officers web T&A, we use different systems to report time and attendance so that employees get compensated accordingly. Responsible for explaining the Local Compensation Plan to employees and reminding them of their benefits and responsibilities accordingly. Keeping record and monitoring leave due and leave taken. Drafting of the country clearance and the cable for Officers traveling and pre-license checks for companies (importing & exporting). Weekly and monthly progress report writing using Dicta-phone. Responsible taking minutes at retreats and reporting back. Coordinating Regional Training for U.S. Department of Commerce. Render support on VIP visit events and work at control rooms. Rendered support and managed RSVPs for the VVIPs during the First Lady of the U.S visit to South Africa in June 2011 at Regina Mondi in Soweto and also provided support by escorting the VVIPs to the meeting room (clutch room) to meet the First Lady. Coordinated an International Business breakfast event during the visit of U.S. President, Barack Obama in June of 2013 to South Africa. Supported a reception during the visit of Former U.S Secretary, Hillary Clinton.

I worked as an Executive Assistant at a communications company named El-Cubed Communications Services, my duties included but not limited to; diary management, traveling arrangements (bookings), screening of calls, outlook monitoring, searching for tenders on the net, photocopying, preparing presentations, mail distribution, liaison with clients, coordinating meetings and strategic conferecenses, board meetings and binding.

My role included supervising the receptionist, making sure she reported to work on time and knocked off on the appropriate time. Researches she was tasked by either one of the Directors had come to me for review before submitting to the Directors. I also supervised the cleaner as she was a direct hire. Making sure her duties were completed thoroughly and making sure that she was alert at all times for visitor's coming through who needed refreshments and her office supply was up to date.

I have worked as an administrative manager of the Evaton Renewal Project, my duties included but not limited to; developing a programme of action for 15 Community Liaison Officers, implementing the programme, writing monthly reports and submitting them to the HOD of Housing's office, monitoring the labour desk administrator and the office assistant, coordinating public events /meetings, ordering of stationary, liaison with Ward Councilors and committees, liaison with different stakeholders and briefing them on the developments and upcoming projects, compiling database of suppliers for the project, arranging catering for MEC's visits and other celebrations and preparing salary invoices for the 15 CLOs and submitting them at to the department of Housing.

My role included supervising the 13 Community Liaison officers and then reporting to the Senior Community Liaison Officer. My role included drawing up work schedules in targeted areas for each Community Liaison...

I was an Administrator at the constituency office for 1year 4 months and my duties included but not limited to; diary management of MPs, coordinating public events and meetings, liaison with all government departments, responsible for the itinerary of the office and petty cash, liaison with the Regional office and the legislature, taking minutes of meetings, participating in public activities, mobilizing the communities for government public participation programmes, dealing with various cases and resolving quarrels within community members, assisting communities with government information and referring them to relevant departments and coordinating imbizos initiated by MECs offices.
