A Summer fair was organised by the school to raise money for a charity event and due to this I was asked to contribute and raise money by doing mehndi (henna) on children and adults who had paid £1. The summer fair took place from 11am to 2pm where other stalls and a DJ were involved to make it special.

My work experience was in Matalan, I had worked there for 2 weeks- they had given me several tasks that I was set to do throughout my work experience. This was to deal with customer queries, handling stocks along with working closely with the customers to provide them with the best assistance. While working there it had given me many opportunities to open up and communicate with the customers. This had given me the chance to learn new things like how to deal with customer enquirers, dealing with the clothes in the stock room and placing the clothes from the changing room in the correct departments.
