Project Details: Up gradation and Strengthening of existing State Highway to 2 lanes with paved shoulder. The project stretch consists of 20 minor bridges, 1 major bridge, 1 flyover and 150 culverts.

Contribution: Lead the team of structural engineers and CAD draughtsman in preparation and checking of detailed designs and drawings to ensure the quality deliverables within stipulated time frame. Guide the team in performing structural inventory of the project stretch and in preparation of general arrangements of bridges, culverts and related structures. Value engineering by adopting different structural options to arrive at most economical solution. Site visits and coordination meetings with Concessionaire, MPRDC and Independent Consultant in getting approvals.

Project: Pre Bid Engineering Services - Operation, Maintenance and Transfer of Borkhedi-Jam-Wadner section of NH 7 in Maharashtra; Trichy- Madurai section of NH 7; Madurai-Kanyakumari section of NH 45B and Chennai Bypass in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Client: BVSR Constructions Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad.

Contribution: Conducting condition survey and validation of structures along the project stretches against the technical schedules. Preparation of proposals for maintenance, repairs and restoration of damaged structures and it's cost estimation.

Contribution: Lead the team of structural engineers and CAD draughtsman in preparation of detail designs and drawings to ensure the quality deliverables. Guide the team in performing structural inventory and in preparation of general arrangements of all structures right from conceptual to feasibility stage. Working out of cost for different structural proposals made during different stages to arrive at most economical solution. Site visits, presentations and meetings with NHAI and PWD authorities and submission of drawings to suit for the site constraints. Project Details: Khalifa Port Industrial Zone (KPIZ) provides 400 sq.km of industrial development to support the new Khalifa Port marine facility and container terminal in Abu Dhabi which is strategically located midway between Dubai and Abu Dhabi with well connected regional and inter-emirate road network and proposed rail corridors. KPIZ development comprising of several highway interchanges. Access into the development is provided through Sheik Khalifa Industrial Road which comprises of proposed interchanges crossing the dual carriageway of Sheik Rashid Highway connecting AbuDhabi and Dubai. This is achieved without interrupting Abu Dhabi - Dubai Highway traffic. All the bridges are designed in accordance with the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
The interchange bridges carrying dual carriageway of Sheik Khalifa Industrial Road on top and over passing Sheik Rashid Highway underneath consists of multi cellular cast-in-situ post-tensioned box girders having widths 33.25m with constant depth. The span configuration of superstructure is 30m - 39.6m - 39.6m - 30m. The superstructure is analyzed using SAP 2000. The deck is supported on replaceable POT cum PTFE bearings. Designation: Senior Structural Engineer (Bridges)
Project Details: It is a new prestigious beach development project in Abu Dhabi for a length of approximately 8.5 km comprising of mixed use including residential, commercial, retail and leisure. The development is served by a boulevard carrying vehicular and Light Rail traffic running approximately parallel to the Sheik Maktoum Bin Rashid Road (Abu Dhabi - Dubai Motorway). Access from the main highway into the development is provided through main highway Interchanges which comprise of bridges crossing the main motorway.
All the interchange bridge superstructures carrying the boulevard are multi cellular cast-in-situ post-tensioned box girders having widths ranging from 10.5m (min) to 35.0m (max) with both varying and constant depths. The span configurations of superstructures vary from 20m to 60m. Stage construction technique for longitudinal deck prestressing and traffic diversions have been adopted wherever necessary to facilitate the easy movement of Dubai - Abu Dhabi highway traffic. The deck is supported on replaceable POT bearings. Reinforced Concrete abutment walls both closed type and open type (spill through) are adopted. RC Piers with aesthetically pleasing shapes are used at intermediate supports. Each of the supports is founded on cast-in-situ concrete bored piles with a pile cap. All the structures are designed in accordance with the AASHTO LRFD.
The entire development consists of 15 LRT stations excluding western and eastern terminal stations. Each station basically consists of two levels namely the platform level and the plaza level. The plaza level is basically close to the street level adjacent to the station whereas the platform level is located lower than the adjacent street level. Contribution: Preparation of conceptual and preliminary structural designs of bridge structures.

Project: BTB, Between The Bridges, Hotel Resort, Abu Dhabi- UAE.
Client: BTB, Hotel Resorts, Abu Dhabi- UAE.
Contribution: Structural design of a 250m length vehicular ramp resting on the raft. The raft is founded on Piles. Also structural design of service tunnel which carries utilities related to water, drainage, mechanical and electrical etc.

Project: Consultancy Services for Feasibility study and Preparation of DPR for 4/6 Laning of Armur-Kalkallu section of NH 7 in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Designation: Senior Engineer (Bridges)
Project Details: Detailed Project Report for 4/6 Laning from Armur to Kalkallu in Nagpur-Hyderabad section of NH 7 as a part of North-South Corridor under NHDP. The stretch consists of 24 bridges out of which 3 are Road Over Bridges. Most of the bridges are skew bridges with skew angles varying from 10 to 55 degrees. The types of superstructures consist of PSC and RCC precast I-beams with cast-in-situ deck slab, RCC solid slab and voided slabs. The piers are of RC wall type, circular trestle columns and single solid/hollow circular resting on open and well foundations. The abutments are of RC wall type and box type.
Contribution: Preparation of detail structural designs and checking the drawings of bridges and ROBs for submission of DPR. Coordinate with IIT Madras in proof checking and South Central Railway, Secunderabad for getting approvals of designs and drawings of Road Over Bridges.

• Flyover cum ROB at Pallavaram, Chennai, India.
This was a three armed flyover cum ROB located in Chennai city. All the three arms of the flyover designed to meet at an elevated circular rotary. One arm from Chennai side second arm from Tambaram side and third arm coming from Thoraipakkam side joins at the elevated rotary. The superstructure is of two span continuous single cell PSC cast in site box girders. The fly over was designed with tapered rectangular piers and wall type abutments resting on open foundations.
• Four Laning of Nellore - Chennai section of NH 5
This was a NHAI project and part of the Golden Quadrilateral program taken up by the PMO office. The scope of work included 11 PSC girder bridges, 2 Road Over Bridges. The width of deck for all the bridges was 14.25 m. Contiguous ten girder system was proposed for all bridges at a spacing of 1.427 m. The types of foundations consist of open, pile and well.
• Visakhapatnam Port Bridge, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Construction of additional link including roadwork and structures for about 12 km from the junction on NH 5 to Visakhapatnam Port in AndhraPradesh. The scope of work included was to design the PSC twin cell cast-in-site box girder super- structures spans in the range of 30m to 42m for M/S. Venkat Rao, Visakhapatnam, AP.
