Provided administrative support for the Community Engagement Programme, which bought training to all 32 London boroughs. I created a database of 10,000 contacts using Salesforce. I also organised over 110 meetings at 32 venues across London, a conference at City Hall, raised funds for the project by cold-calling companies and organised prizes for online auctions.
I was responsible for writing the copy for our project on the Safer London Foundation (SLF) website and uploading this text and images onto the webpage using a CMS. All images were edited using Adobe Photoshop. I also authored the Final Report on the
Community Engagement Programme, which was published and distributed to senior staff at the Metropolitan Police Service and Authority as well as the Greater London Authority
and is available here: http://www.saferlondonfoundation.org/_assets/CEP_Final_Report_2010.pdf. I was also asked to proof all marketing material that was used across the business.
Spoke at presentations to members of the public and senior members of the Metropolitan Police Force and Authority. Acted as an ambassador for the charity at various dinners and fundraising events. I'm comfortable building professional relationships and networking. The project effected a spectrum of stakeholders from the
ages of 16-65 across all London boroughs.
December 2004 - May 2008
Absolutely Training created interactive flash training courses for multi-national companies and financial institutions. As Production Manager, my role was to manage a team of flash developers and graphic designers and oversee the production schedule.
My role was to manage all projects from inception to post production, liaising with both internal and external clients. This involved pre-production meetings with clients to ascertain scope and guide them on direction and aesthetics. My initial task was to outline all of these processes and map them for the ISO 9000 qualification.
My role also covered copy writing, ranging from product sheets, articles, e-newsletters, newsletters and email campaigns. I have also had a double page spread published in a trade magazine. I am experienced in writing for both web and print media. I had editorial proof over all other marketing material to ensure it maintained a house style.
I also worked as an Instructional Designer where needed, designing interactive elements for the courses which also involved sourcing images. . All of this content was uploaded using a content management system (CMS). I was involved in the consultation process when we switched CMS' and am proficient at adapting to a new CMS.
I managed resources to ensure budget optimisation including salaries, recruitment and software. I was responsible for the recruitment process for full and part-time staff within the team. I was ultimately responsible for project deliverability and I ensured that all of the processes were adhered to in order to publish high quality work.
