Accountabilities and Responsibilities
o Research and recommend new technologies that may benefit the Lesotho Revenue Authority.
o Train and assist users with Microsoft office applications
o Conduct monthly remote visits to interview and conduct inspections and forward recommendations to management.
o Responsible for hardware and software inventory for LRA.
o Ensure that UPS's are up and running for all Lesotho Revenue Authority sites.
o Acquire, support and maintain ICT equipment in line with business requirements.
o Responsible for Back End and first line level support.
o Implement and manage a service management framework through change control, incident management and problem management.
o Implement Risk management policies.
o Manage consumables e.g. cartridges, imaging drums CD's DVD's flash drives etc. and ensure the stock is always available for users.
o Support and maintain all hardware including desktop
Computers, laptops, printers and scanners.
o Diagnose the problem, fix or send to service provider.
o Install, support and maintain all desktop application software e.g. Microsoft Office.
o Ensure continuous operation of the software.
o Install, upgrade, and support desktop operating systems, network related software and mail applications.
o Connect, configuration and provide first level support for Lesotho Revenue Authority business applications.
o Deploy new hardware by distributing and connecting computers, printers faxes etc. to Lesotho Revenue Authority domain.
o Install, configure and troubleshoot printers(shared network and stand-alone )
o Join personal computers and laptops into Lesotho Revenue Authority domain.
o Configure using office application, outlook mail and internet for users at all Lesotho Revenue Authority sites.
o Assist Lesotho Revenue Authority users to login to Lesotho Revenue Authority domain and to their personal computers.
o Establish and maintain connection for remote sites.
o Troubleshoot and solve user' day to day problems.
