and supervise in-service inspection of vessels, piping systems, storage tanks, structure, and pressure safety relief devices within the assigned streams.
B- To supervise performing the periodical inspection and assessment for all static equipment
C- Contributing in budget planning process, analyzing, and optimizing costs, in order to identify cost improvement opportunities.
D- Implementing main aspects of work planning, prioritization and preparation at performing intrusive inspection on equipments during major shutdowns of the plant streams and periodical planning and execution.
E- Ensure inspections of classified and designated plant are scheduled, scoped, communicated and implemented.
F- To prepare and follow up the implementation of inspection programs for all static equipment & pipelines and define the inspection frequencies based on the results obtained and criticality.
G- Reporting all the inspection activities as inspection reports and ensuring to update related software
H- External/internal vessel inspections during S/D or T/A,
I- Supervision/guidance Inspection/Maintenance/NDT Inspection Personnel and certification of repairs to ensure compliance with Company Specifications.

K- Apply Risk and Reliability techniques (by gathering data, using root cause analysis RCA methodology and develop technical assessment and repair/ mitigation procedure) for unexpected problems and observed anomalies in order to restore the equipment into its fit for service FFS condition

Inspection as I

have carried out TPI, Vendor, Shutdowns and Turnarounds Inspection activities most of the previous years of experience were distributed between the Gulf area ( Oman, Saudi Arabia) & Egypt. I have got involved in so many shutdowns in Saudi Arabia as I have started my work life with ISS (Industrial Support Services) which consider as inspection agency specialized in Shutdowns and Turnarounds for Saudi Aramco & Sabic. I have worked with them for around 5 years as Shutdown Inspection Engineer. Then I have transferred to Germanischer Lloyd's Egypt and I have worked with them as Sr. Inspection Engineer. And through GL Egypt I have worked as TPI for so many Shutdowns and Projects then I have been shifted to Germanischer Lloyd's Saudi Arabia as Sr. RBI & Inspection Engineer and I have assigned through GL to work as RBI Engineer for Saudi Aramco for almost two years and for SABIC for almost one year. I have stayed in GL for around 6 years. Currently I am working as Sr. Integrity & RBI Engineer for PDO Oman (Petroleum Development Oman) which is considered as one the biggest Oil Production Company in Oman since 2011 participating in Integrity issues solving and carrying out all required inspections for our assets.

Assigned as Sr. Inspection & RBI Engineer for IBN RUSHD SABIC Saudi Arabia and my scope of work was as following:


A- Carry out and organize all inspection activities which is PM or CM according to SAP
B- To supervise performing the periodical inspection and assessment for all static equipment
C- Apply FFS for the equipments and checking its integrity Status.
D- Review all procedure and develop the welding and NDT Procedure
E- Apply the MERIDIUM RBI Software for all of the assets and equipments.
F- To prepare and follow up the implementation of inspection programs (on stream & off stream) for all static equipment & pipelines and define the inspection frequencies based on the results obtained and criticality.

• Provide our client with an integrated Inspection Management, Corrosion Management, Risk Based Inspection (RBI E2G ) that cover the Asset Integrity Management requirements for maintaining Asset Register for all asset types including piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, pipelines, safety relief valves, lifting equipment and rotating equipment.
• To supervise all on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment, piping systems, pressure relieving devices and structures, by assessing deterioration mechanisms, corrosion monitoring and investigation of failures.
