Responsibilities:
• Providing Support for Nuance proprietary Software/ applications, built for Medical transcription domain. Support includes both at Server and client machine platforms.
• Troubleshooting application related issues raised by onshore and offshore entities.
• Providing technical support for IT infrastructure supporting 500 plus employees.
• Assisting users with issues raised using e-mail chat and voice support.
• Remote assistance provided using GotoMyPC, GotoAssist, VNC and RDC tools.
• Managing incidents assigned for the day by ticketing system within SLA.
• Escalation of unresolved issues to next level as per the protocol.
• Root cause analysis of frequently raised issues and escalation of the same to development team if required.
• Testing newly developed software/application, generating bug list and reporting to the developer about the findings.
• Testing new version of application for their compatibility with required Operating System and Office suite.
• Raising change request to development team for the modification required on application.
• Monitoring of applications (more than 20 applications), web servers at regular interval as per schedule.
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco VPN client applications.
• Preparing documentation, updating knowledge share blogs for existing and new support process/activities.
• Training of new/junior application support engineers and resolve/assist escalated cases.
