The outcome of audits and surveys are presented within Clinical Meeting. Data is extracted from the Systmone in order to look for trends. A vast amount of research was theoretical and sourced prior to, and during the audit is taking place. Audits, as requested by the PCT, formed a Key Performance Indicator is regularly carried out. The audits took place in order to analyse the number of referrals made by the practice into Secondary care, where the main objective is to reduce the number of referrals made. Areas analysed are Trauma and Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Urology and Accident and Emergency attendances. On a monthly basis I acquired statistical data on how the Practice fairs within Derby City PCT, as well as nationally. A keen eye for detail was necessary for my role as well as numerical skills as well as excellent Customer Service skills.
