"Finally, a children's book that introduces children to the school community--simply amazing!"
~ Maggie Lenox, author of rhyming picture book, WHO'S AT YOUR SCHOOL?

Kindergarten Transition Activities

I am a published children's book author: WHO'S AT YOUR SCHOOL? is a fun and informative way to introduce the school community to new students. I present storytime to preschools and kindergarten classes to help children with this transition. The children learn who works at school, what the staff's roles are in education, and some rules to follow at school. Parents' and students' roles are included as well. Children enjoy chanting along with the repetitive text. This group time also includes fun music and movement. Please visit my book's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/kindergarten.transition

Published Author

self employed

From August 2012

As a preschool teacher I noticed there wasn't a book to teach preschoolers who works at school...so I wrote one.
Who's at Your School? published 8/2012 - is a rhyming book that introduces the school community to students: preschoolers, kindergarteners, new students (military, foster children, any child going through a school transition)
I was a military (Air Force) brat, as they say--I moved every three years! I remember those butterfly feelings as I stepped into each new school building, with unknown faces and unknown expectations. This book will help inform young children of their new school experience. The more they know--the more they'll want to go!
