Following on from a briefing with the General Manager, was asked to design and implement a Social Media strategy for the hotel. Working autonomously, created both an ongoing engagement with potential corporate customers, as well as focussing on one-off events such as Christmas, New Year, Weddings and other seasonal deals. Was also tasked with developing relationships with relevant organisations such as Visit Brighton, in addition to online and offline publications to help with general marketing.

Busking Cancer A music-led campaign to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Click Click
provide strategic marketing advice, event organisation and social media support to help the team
hit their fundraising targets.
DJ's vs the Big C A charity night to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK, at the legendary
Ministry of Sound in London. Click Click provided online and offline marketing services, podium
dancers, break dancers, front of house staff and creative input into marketing material.

Independent Domestic Abuse Campaigner
Providing support to local agencies and key individuals to help them to enhance and deliver their important messages relating to Domestic Abuse. Key achievements include:
• Co-Ordinating the One Billion Rising “flash mob” in Brighton in 2013, which tied in with the worldwide campaign. Press activity included personal interviews in the Argus, Juice FM, Radio Reverb and positive coverage on the BBC South East news. Attendees included Caroline Lucas MP and Purna Sen (Labour Parliamentary Candidate.)
• Co-Ordinating One Billion Rising awareness and fundraising event. This 2014 event included speakers such as author Peter James & actress Julie Graham, attracted up to 200 guests and raised nearly £2500 for Rise UK.
• Participant in a Sussex Police Press Conference to launch Operation Cranberry, with the new Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne, the CEO of Rise and Martin Richard, Chief Constable, with coverage across multiple media channels.
• Invitation to speak at the “Woman of the Year lunch” in April at the American Express Stadium.
• Communications Volunteer for Rise UK, a local Domestic Abuse organisation focusing on social media, marketing and fundraising. Attending the organisation business development day and presenting the outcome to Income Generation Group.
• Invited to speak as a ‘Survivor’ of Domestic Abuse at the Rise Open Day and AGM.
• Developed and maintained blog, www.theplanthatcannotfail.wordpress.com, which has been viewed in over 20 countries, including the UK, USA, Australia and South Africa.
• Member of the Lewes District Domestic Abuse Working Group.
