I have been a Secondary Teacher teaching Biology and General Science for over 10 years since 1993, whilst also being a General Science Vanuatu National Chief Examiner for 5 years. As an Anglophone Chief Examiner, I had to work in collaboration with my French counterpart to ensure the Examination we create is of the same content and context for both the Anglophone and Francophone students at Grade 10. I was in a team of 5 that drafted the National Year 10 Basic Science Prescribtion Booklet currently in use. In 1996, researched on a Community Biodiversity Based Project on Lamen Island, Epi in Vanuatu.
I have served as Epi High School Principal for 15 years since 1998. Did my Masters in Development Studies and Cultural Change in 2008 at Macqurie University in Sydney. From June, 2011 to April, 2012, researched and drafted the Vanuatu National Culture Strategic Plan and the Vanuatu National Culture Policy under a contract with the Vanuatu Cultural Center.
Since August of 2007, started coordinating the Epi Recognized Seasonal Scheme to New Zealand for the people of Epi, Emae, Makira and Tongariki for the Birdhurst and Heywood companies.
Currently, serving also as a member of the Board of Directors for the Vanuatu National Provident Fund.

I am more of a general biologist, my specialist areas are fish biology and environmental biology.
