Lyzzette September is founding editor and publisher of the Climate Change Diary, which was first published in 2009. The Climate Change Diary, a sustainable development learning resource linked to the National Schools Curriculum is a diary, doubling as a learning support for teachers, community development workers, learners from grades 7 to 9 as well as government workers and NGOs.
Lyzzette believes that every man woman and child should be environmentally literate and plans to publish diaries for the relevant phases of the Curriculum.

Climate change, like no other environmental challenge of this century, will require a complete transformation of our energy and industrial systems: the way we transport ourselves, build our homes, produce our food, buy and re-use goods and services.In short, “decarbonizing society”, a massive undertaking many times bigger than the Industrial Revolution, as it needs to reach every man, woman and child on Earth. Our youth will drive the necessary behavioral changes we need in order to "decarbonize" our societies.
