Everton Community Centre

I was a receptionist greeting people coming in and showing them where they needed to go ensuring any visitor signed in the book as they entered and as they left for Fire Safety. I performed some Administration tasks to assess letter writing and uploading information on the main database. Offered support to staff and visitors who used the Centre and who needed assistance for research from the internet; locating telephone numbers from local business. This Centre hosted a local MP once a month and as visitors entered to see the MP, one responsibility I held was taking down their names making sure order of persons were placed.

Administrator Assistance


Placement to train as a Business Administrator I performed office work using all Microsoft applications with ease. As MCCDA is a charity based organisation this company provided social care to disabled and elderly in their own home sending carers to aid. As a assistant in the office I provided help with the entry of data to keep records of awards that the careers needed ensuring they were up to date. Using scanning/printer and also used the frank machine. Answered the telephone with excellent methods of communication particularly due to this company being of Chinese origin and at times a language barrier was effective so patience was imperative.

During this time I also attended College to improve my abilities in computer Literacy and various other functional courses. Furthermore, I also cared for my seriously ill mother through an approximate 5 year period of time.
