I currently attend School of Visual Arts and study Graphic Design to better expand my knowledge of it in order to pursue a career in my area of interest of design in the music industry, preferably in the Alternative/Rock genre. While that is my main goal, I also have a deep passion for advertising, publication, music and the arts and would really love to be able to experience them all or even all of them in one! I have experience in graphic design such as freelance work in designing band logos, promotional posters, advertisements, and publicity posters. In addition to my freelance work, I currently intern at Relix Magazine, in which I design production material for Relix and it’s client and I work at National Mill Industry, Inc., in which I sketch and design intimate lingerie, make patterns and designs, and work on spec sheet designs.
I currently have my Associates Degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Kingsborough Community College and plan on receiving my Bachelors in Graphic Design from School of Visual Arts in June 2012.
I am very knowledgable in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as Quark Xpress. I am also familiar with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Paint, Publisher. And have recently taken on Photography.
My preferred computer is Apple however I am proficient in how to use PC's as well.
