dondolo is a PhD candidate at UFH, his thesis looks at the production of post-aparthied memorial complex and social transformation in the eastern cape. luvuyo is at an advanced stage of hist research and as such he is submitting this year. Dondolo is a rockefeller scholarship holder and spent one academic year at emory universsity in Atlanta, USA, to develop his knowledge of museums and heritage management, policy formulation, research and knowledge management, public culture and tourism.
luvuyo has 15 years experience, 5 at mangement and 6 at senior management. he has worked at district six museum, robben island museum, HSRC, south african heritage resources agency, amathole district municipality (ADM) and has been involved in a number of socio-economic research, tourism and social transformation projects both in cape town and the eastern cape.when he was the senior manager for local economic development luvuyo was involved in a number of initiatives including rural development within the district. he has also acted as the HOD for human settlements and economic development on numerous times. currently, dondolo, is the senior manager for policy and research at ADM.
luvuyo was a board member for Nelson Mandela Museum and chairperson of heritage management committee. he hasmanagement and strategic skills,budge and peformance management. his vast experience, expose, skills and academic training would add value to any instituion.
