I am an Process Engineer at Schnellecke South Africa, and studying, doing my B-tech in Industrial Engineering. Since 2009 June, when I started with my Training I’ve been involved in many projects and acquired a lot of skill. I started at Schnellecke then went to Johnson Controls where i worked for two months and then went back to Schnellecke. I’ve been in continuous improvement projects from being part of a workflow mapping to training operators on problem solving techniques and implementation of Performance Measurement system. As part of my daily responsibilities I’m responsible for maintaining Layout, Plan Routes design, updating and developing operator instructions (SOP), Man power requirements, Time Studies plus analysis, resource allocation for quotes, providing technical data for the quotes process, headcount, equipment, tools and support areas. I also implement lean manufacturing principles.

My knowledge of eliminating manufacturing and service related problems through the application of Industrial Engineering techniques are developed, and the installation of innovative thinking will enable me to reduce the forms of waste in any manufacturing environment. I can work effectively as an individual and in group situations and have developed good relations with my fellow employees and employers. This has helped me to work with a number of people.
