Regarding my years of experience working on a full range of the Marine Industry, Shipyards (Mexico, Japan & Korea) doing Shipbuilding, Ship-repair, as in Construction Projects with knowledge of Standard practices and procedures of Marine Repair, Management of Materials and Equipment (Machinery) flow to coincide with production schedule in the assembly and/or repair of Vessels, Floating Structures as Dry Docks or repairs afloat.
Also working on Offshore maintenance & repairs in addition to the Onshore maintenance, as undertaking Industrial & Manufacturing jobs of Steel Fabrication according to the Class Society required.
Working Experience
My previous Job in South Korea: I did become as part of the Technical Staff of Mexico’s Grupo R to supervise the Engineering Review, Construction, Mechanical Completion, Commissioning and Sea Trials of the Semi-Submersible Drilling Units Hull 3026 and Hull 3027 in DSME(DW).
As part of the Marine Team at the first part of the Project and as Quality & Inspection Division Leader until the end of such project, I did Work for three years 10 months for such Mexican project with Grupo R from February 8th.2009 until December 6th. 2012. Assigned to "M/T TOLTECA"(Pemex Tanker grounded in January 1st.on 1996) as the Project Manager. Machinery spaces were flooded during the grounding & shell plate damaged and with significant water damage to electrical, controls, instruments and machinery. From the signing of a Letter of Intent, my responsibility was to determine all resource requirements in the shipyard and get the necessary Subcontracts to successfully develop, plan and execute this mayor ship-repair Project. As Project Manager I worked with the Manager of Projects of the shipyard to develop and agree on costs and schedules for the repair performance and coordinate Marine-Technical services to Business also.
