As you will see, I have many years experience gained working as a landscaper and gardener, and have extensive knowledge of flowers, plants and tree types, and how best to maintain their health, along with practical experience of handling tools and equipment used for maintenance and design of outdoor spaces, such as trimmers, electric saw and all mechanical and non mechanical gardening products.
I am a highly organised and motivated and, adopt a professional attitude when completing work, making sure that customers are fully involved in the planning and alterations made to their gardens, and providing advice and information on how best to look after their plants throughout the seasons.
Whilst employed in Italy, I was responsible for the maintenance of the beautiful gardens around Lake Maggiore, where do I grew my interest and developed my abilities as a gardener. Here, I worked as part of a large team, conducting general maintenance, plantings and groundwork’s, along with laying patios, painting and decoration fencing and sheds, and installing irrigations system, fountains, and all manner of garden furniture and out houses.
Throughout my gardening career, I have endeavoured to carry out hard work and provide the delicate touches that gardening requires. I have an extremely focused and disciplined approach to working, applying creative flair and a good capacity to thinking ahead.
My plant identification skills are excellent, and I have a good deal of experience in handling chemicals such as fertilisers, pesticides and herbicides, taking all necessary precautions to protect myself, my customers and of course, the gardens and plants.
Since residing in London, I have been working in the food service industry as a chef, in order to meet my living costs. However, as my main skills and experience are focused in the field of landscaping and gardening, I am now seeking to continue to build my career in this sector, here in the UK.

April 2013 - December 2013

I was responsible for preparing and producing Pizzas and side dishes to order. My duties included preparation of food ingredients in line with food hygiene standards, switch on the ovens, conduct a stock check, order food and dry stock, ensuring the food preparation are is kept clean and free from hazards at all times, serving customers, and processing cash payment.

July 2012 - April 2013

Working as part of a team, I was responsible for leading on a number of design and build projects. My duties included meeting with customers to create a garden design, advice on plant choices, materials and furnishings, and explaining why, based on seasons, some work could not be conducted to achieve the desired result.

I would then set to work using all manner of gardening tools and machinery to excavate soil and land mass and laying patios, before working with my team to build the garden, based on designs sketches to enable the customer to visualise the end result.

In addition, I was also responsible for visiting regular clients to perform general maintenance. This includes cutting lawns, trimming hedges, cleaning patios, watering hanging baskets, and maintaining shrubs.

As Pizza chef, I was responsible for opening the kitchen area and preparing food ingredients, before producing pizzas, pastas and side dishes to order.
I was also responsible for supervising the kitchen porters, making sure that during busy periods we had enough ingredients, cutlery and utensils for producing dishes.

January 2011 - December 2011

Joining the company as a kitchen porter I was responsible for cleaning cutlery and cooking utensils for the catering staff, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the food preparation area. I was then asked to prepare salads, cold dishes and starters, before being promoted to Commis Chef, where I was then placed in charge of preparing specific dishes from the menu.

This post required me to use my creative skills to produce eye catching decorations and displays with the food products, in order to entice customers to purchase.

December 2007 - January 2011

with landscaping duties, firstly as a general hand, before being given specific tasks to complete. Here I learnt about site safety, tool handling and a wide range of skills related to gardening and plant knowledge.

I was then taken on as a full member of staff, and assigned to work on a number of projects as well as servicing gardens for regular customers, taking on more responsibilities and competing more complex pieces of work.

Through my hard work and commitment to the job, I was promoted to deputy manager after 18 months in post, in charge of two staff and responsible for leading on a variety landscaping projects.
